Greenfield Walking Club

This group began on October 2, 2006 and
has met every Monday – Friday 8:00 – 9:30 am at Stiern Park (5400
Monitor Street) across from the Greenfield Family Resource
Center. If you would like to be involved in the activities of the
Greenfield Walking Club, the CCROPP initiative or any Get Moving Kern

East Hills
Mall Walking Program - Walking the Mall for Fitness and Fun is
sponsored by Mercy and Memorial Hospitals. Each month the program
provides free preventative health education classes and screenings for
blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar to program participants. The
mall's service corridor is open on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
and on Sundays from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bike Bakersfield a
not-for-profit organization that seeks to promote bicycling as a part of
everyday life for Bakersfield residents. A variety of stakeholders
envisioning a Bakersfield in which bicycling flourishes as a fun,
healthy, and safe means of transportation.
Kern Wheelmen

Wheelmen Bicycle Club is a group of some 150+ cyclists that live around
Kern County, California who enjoy bicycling as recreation and sport. As
a Club, we seek to offer cycling events and/or rides that span a
spectrum of cycling interests.
